About the event

Left-handed and ready to crochet? This class is just for you.

Lefty Loopers is a foundational beginner crochet class designed specifically for left-handed makers who often feel overlooked in traditional right-handed instruction. You’ll learn the basics at a comfortable, supportive pace, with every demonstration shown from a left-handed perspective.

We’ll cover how to hold your hook and yarn, create a slip knot and starting chain, and practice essential beginner stitches so you can confidently start your own projects. Whether you’ve never picked up a hook or you’ve struggled to follow along in other classes, this space is here to meet you where you are.

You’re welcome to bring your own materials, or you can purchase a simple starter kit in the shop for $5, which includes a crochet hook and a ball of practice yarn.

No experience required. Just bring your curiosity—and let’s make crochet finally click, lefty style.
